Adobe Lightroom

I’m so sold.  I just spent the last little bit checking out Adobe Lightroom with a friend, and I love it.   It is so simple to batch process.  The presets make proofing a breeze.  I don’t think I would use it much for final production, but for a simple proof to show a client it can’t be beat.  The main drawback I saw to the whole thing was that a lot of the presets tend to blow the heck out of the highlights.  But that isn’t really even a drawback in the end, because every preset is totally tweakable.  That is before you even get into making your own presets, which is where it could totally come alive.  All of this for only $100 or so.

If only I were made of money…
