Home Buyer

So this has nothing to do with photography, but it is something that almost everyone has to deal with at some point.  Jessica and I are trying to buy a house.  We thought we knew what we wanted, and even found a house that matched up.  Then we got ready to place a bid (this morning actually) and found out some things that you don’t read everywhere else.  I understood property tax and insurance were part of the mortgage payment, but I didn’t know that I would also have to pay a PMI, which is just more insurance.  Not to mention that I was figuring the fixed interest rate at almost a full percent lower than it actually will be.  All in all, it added over $280 a month to the payment we THOUGHT we would be making.  Needless to say, as a photographer, I can’t afford that.  We are back at square one looking for a house.  If you have one that you want to give to me, just send me an email.  I will take your picture for free.  Deal?
